This piece was woven on a backstrap loom. I have adapted a three color Andean pebble weave technique to use five colors instead of three. Unlike a four color Andean pebble weave, this piece is not reversible. This piece was woven on a backstop loom as a wedding present. The yarn is dyed with onion skins and indigo.
